Splash your face thoroughly with warm water to remove any remaining cleanser. Pat your face dry with a clean towel.
Alternately, you can try this Honey Facial Wash / Mask:
You may be saying to yourself, “Wash my face with honey, it’s so sticky? Yes, it is sticky, but honey is a natural antibiotic and moisturizer? Your skin will feel instantly soft. This facial wash can be used as a daily cleanser or leave longer (10-15 min.) and use as a facial mask.
1 Tbsp raw organic honey
1 Tsp baking soda
- Check in the mirror for dusty white spots once your skin dries. These spots indicate dried baking soda that wasn’t properly rinsed away. Rinse your face with water again and pat dry with a towel to remove the residue.
- Pour 1 tablespoon of rolled oats into a small bowl and crush them with the edge of a spoon until a powder forms if you don’t have 2 teaspoons of oat flour on hand.
Do not let the exfoliating cleanser dry if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin. The granules are more abrasive when dry. Rinse the wet cleanser from your skin with water to clean and lightly exfoliate sensitive skin without irritating it.
