DIY: Deep Conditioning Hair Mask


There are so many variations to little DIYs for our hair! The good thing about that is that you have many recipes to choose from! I found this quick and easy DIY on the blog Allie Le Fenere and absolutely had to share. It takes but 3 awesome ingredients and as much as I hate applying a fruit or vegetable to my hair, this just sounds too good not to give a try! Stashing this one away for future use *-*

What you’ll need:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 3 tsp olive oil

The Process:

1. Mash the avocado with a spoon until it’s a smooth paste.

2. Add the coconut milk and olive oil, stirring rapidly to make sure they mix well.

3. Warm the mask in a pre-heated pan for about 20 seconds. Apply to your hair from roots to ends, massaging it into your scalp.

4. Leave on for at least 30 minutes with heat or up to an hour without.

5. Rinse well.

Voila! Luxurious locks via Mama Nature.
